🚙 4WD Only — All beach driving on Fraser Island is soft sand. No 2WD vehicles.
📉 Tyre Pressure — Drop to 15–18 PSI as soon as you leave the barge (carry a gauge and compressor).
🛞 Tyres — All-terrain or mud-terrain with strong sidewalls required. Road tyres will bog.
🧰 Recovery Gear — Carry Maxtrax, shovel and snatch strap. Getting stuck is common.
