🏝️Why Visit Great Palm Island?
This is a community island, not a day-trip resort. You come by public ferry, land at the township, and move around with local help. Bays, fringing reef and walking tracks exist, but shops are limited, there are no taxis, and respect for Bwgcolman people comes first. If you want cafes and a 20-minute crossing, that is Magnetic Island. If you want a luxury lodge, that is Orpheus.
