Mermaid Beach is a quieter 2km stretch of golden sand on the central Gold Coast, sitting between busy Broadbeach and Miami. It offers year-round lifeguard patrols, consistent beachbreak surf, Ken Mansbridge Park facilities and a more relaxed atmosphere than the high-rise beaches further north.

🏝️Why Visit Mermaid Beach Gold Coast?

Mermaid Beach is the quieter alternative to Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise. Instead of high-rises, the beachfront is lined with low-rise homes and apartments along Hedges Avenue — known locally as “Millionaires’ Row”. This residential character keeps crowds lower, the sand more open, and the atmosphere relaxed, while still putting you only minutes from Pacific Fair and Broadbeach dining.
