How do you get to Heart Reef / Heart Island?
Heart Reef scenic flight or Heart Reef helicopter from Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island or Whitsunday Coast Airport. The Heart Island pontoon is helicopter-only from Hamilton Island.
How much does a Heart Reef flight cost?
Standard scenic flights typically start from around $300–$450. The exclusive Journey to the Heart pontoon experience (return helicopter, glass-bottom boat, snorkelling nearby, max 6 guests) is currently from approximately $1,470 per person (Hamilton Island guests only, age restrictions apply).

No. Whitehaven is on Whitsunday Island. Heart Reef sits out in Hardy Reef. Flights often show both on the same run. Standing on Whitehaven does not give you the heart.
Do you need to stay on Hamilton Island?
Not for a Heart Reef scenic flight. Those leave Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island and Whitsunday Coast Airport. The Heart Island pontoon is the Hamilton Island helicopter product and is usually sold to island guests.
Is Heart Reef the same as Reefworld?
No. Reefworld is the Cruise Whitsundays pontoon on Hardy Reef. You can snorkel and dive there. Heart Reef is the small heart-shaped coral nearby. You look at the heart from the air or from the Heart Island pontoon. You do not snorkel the heart.
