Rainbow Bay Beach is hands-down one of the best beaches on the Gold Coast!
The water is a stunning color, the sand is soft and golden, and the waves are perfect — gentle enough for families and beginners to swim safely, yet consistent enough for surfers to enjoy the famous Superbank break nearby. We loved how sheltered and relaxed it feels compared to busier spots, with beautiful views, patrolled areas, and great cafés just a short walk away. It’s the ideal mix of peaceful family beach days and classic Gold Coast surf culture. We’ll definitely be coming back every time we visit!
