🧭 Plan Your Trip

Fly into Cairns Airport, then drive or transfer about 2 hours south to Mission Beach. There is no public ferry and no day-trip landing. Bedarra Island Resort guests take the scheduled launch from The Elandra at South Mission Beach at 12.30pm, or a helicopter from South Mission Beach or Cairns. East Bedarra and the other private houses use their own Mission Beach boat and are self-catered, so order food before you cross. Book the villa or house first, then lock the transfer around that booking. Dunk Island is the public day trip from Mission Beach. Bedarra is overnight guests only.
