Most visitors book a Lady Musgrave Island day trip by boat from Bundaberg Port Marina or 1770. Overnight options are self-sufficient Lady Musgrave Island camping on the cay with a QPWS permit, or the separate HQ pontoon in the lagoon. There is no resort on the island, no 4WD and no regular public ferry.

🚫 No public ferry — you book a tour or a camping transfer. Do not turn up expecting a walk-on service.
🚗 Drive to the marina — about 15 to 25 minutes from Bundaberg city to Port Marina. 1770 is a separate coastal drive via Agnes Water.
