🚗 Driving: Airlie Beach is located in the Whitsundays region, about 620 kilometres south of Cairns and 1 hour 30 minutes north of Mackay via the Bruce Highway (A1) and Shute Harbour Road. The town centre and main beach are easily accessible from Shute Harbour Road, which runs directly through Airlie’s main strip.
🚌 Public Transport: Greyhound and Premier Motor Service coaches stop in the town centre, and Whitsunday Transit buses operate between Proserpine Airport, Cannonvale, and Shute Harbour.
